Thank you for being there

When times were tough, and I was sad

When life just got on top of me

Buried beneath the mounds of stress

A clear view I could not see

When distance seemed the better option

Away from friends and family

When thinking I could get through it alone

You were there to support me

When I thought the world was against me

When clothed with confusion and misery

When at times, I felt like giving up
