The Train Station

I stand still, but with eyes, I see

Hundreds of people travel through me;

Along their way, there are many embraces

Tears, laughter, smiles on faces

A joyful welcome, a sad goodbye

A venue of choice for those choosing to die

The meeting of lovers, a secret rendezvous

And a concert for buskers and tramps high on booze

A place filled with coffee shops, restaurants too

To host celebrations or to visit the loo

But whatever it may be, I am always here

Only please do remember to pay your fair.
