A place to hide

I have found a little unlocked door
In the right-hand corner of my mind
This door of which tempts me to open
To see what I can find
I hope inside that there is solace
Peace, brightness and calm
A room with an absence of malice
No danger, sadness or harm
A door that provides protection
Against all that pulls one down
A barrier between the outside world and me
Where no negative thoughts resound
I am standing at the entrance
Eager to go inside
When anxiousness surrounds me,
I may have found myself a place to hide.
